The contractor will organise and implement 14 3-day workshops named 'Towards a sustainable use of plant protection products' during the first phase of the contract. A second phase is foreseen (see VI.3). During this second phase the training programme to be implemented will be the same as for the first phase.
The workshops will cover 3 modules of 1 day each: legal requirements, safe use and environmental aspects and sustainable use of PPPs.
The attendance should be 30 participants per workshop, with an expected global number of 420 participants for the first phase of the programme. The global participation for the first phase from Member States and candidate countries shall not exceed 400 participants. The other 20 places should be assigned to participants from potential candidate countries and EFTA/EEA countries.
The workshops will be held in 3 or more distinct locations, to be chosen by the contractor, geographically equally distributed among the different EU Member States.
