II.2.4)Description of the procurement:

The activity will extend and consolidate the Robust timing service concept definition for both EGNOS and Galileo. It is requested to perform an In-depth analysis of additional features like Integrity for timing service for both EGNOS and Galileo solutions, High accuracy for timing service, all integrated by dedicated test campaigns to prove the findings. Other features can be proposed; they must be proven by test campaign at the same level of the previous. The outcome of the project will deliver an extended and consolidated Timing service concept for EGNOS and for Galileo. Furthermore, a dedicated task will analyse the current GNSS use in Generation and distribution of legal time across Europe. The project will then analyse the introduction of the European GNSS in those areas.
