This PIN is to notify of the intention to tender for a framework for the provision of software license reseller services to cover Microsoft, Adobe, VMWare and other software and related services sold via resellers to the relevant community but to also accommodate deals that may be in place directly with manufacturers. Higher education institutions purchase the majority of their software licenses from resellers and it is anticipated that these resellers will provide added value services.

SUPC is acting as lead organisation on behalf of its members and also for members of the Higher Education Purchasing Consortium for Wales (HEPCW), the London Universities Purchasing Consortium (LUPC), the North West Universities Purchasing Consortium (NWUPC), the North Eastern Universities Purchasing Consortium (NEUPC), Advanced Procurement for Universities and Colleges Limited (APUC) and Crescent Purchasing Consortium (CPC). SUPC is not acting as an agent in the legal sense on behalf of participating organisations. A full list of purchasing consortia members can be found via the consortia websites.
This PIN is to notify of the intention to tender for a framework for the provision of software license reseller services to cover Microsoft, Adobe, VMWare and other software and related services such as (but not limited to) IT security software, datacentre and cloud software, software asset management and associated services such as discovery, implementation and consultancy for the products within scope of the agreement.
