The objective of the procurement is to facilitate the EU Blockchain Observatory and Forum that will contribute to a European global leadership in blockchain and Distributed Ledger Technologies (DLTs) development and deployment for applications that benefit citizens, public services and companies, fostering and developing the community of stakeholders into a platform for a trustworthy, data-driven and pro-active approach to blockchain technology, policy and market.
The EU Blockchain Observatory and Forum aims to be a trustworthy knowledge base about EU blockchain ecosystem through its deliverables including publication of the thematic analysis; mapping blockchain projects across the EU and the world; workshops on the thematic issues; and providing ad- hoc data and information for policy makers.
It also aims to mobilise further stakeholders from public bodies, private companies, academia and civil society in technical and policy discussions about the future development of blockchain.
