Section VI: Complementary information
The cancellation of this procurement procedure is due to the uncertainties entailed by the UK's recent notification of its intention to withdraw from EU under Article 50 of the Treaty on European Union.
Following the launch of this tender procedure it emerged that the Agency may need to relocate to another Member State as soon as reasonably practicable and in no event later than the end of March 2019.
A decision on the new seat, however will not be taken by the European Council before October 2017. This further uncertainty has a particular impact on location-dependent contracts such as ‘Managed print and ancillary services’. Therefore a change of strategy is now required.
