The Contracting Authority has made the difficult decision not to award this contract. The continuing uncertainty with the waste recycling markets and that of the significant influence and uncertainty around leaving the EU have obviously impacted on pricing to make it untenable. We hope you can understand the huge pressures on local government and its finances at this time. This hasn’t been an easy decision to take, but one we nevertheless need to take on behalf of the local tax payers we are responsible for, as we strive to get the best value and quality services for the future.
