The objective of this service contract is to jointly offset the total amount of the carbon footprint of the European Parliament, the European Central Bank, the Court of Justice of the European Union, the European Court of Auditors, the European Economic and Social Committee and the European Committee of the Regions for the year 2019. In 2019 the total calculated amount of unavoidable CO2 emissions for these Institutions amounted to 188 000 tonnes of CO2, which is the quantity of offset credit that shall be purchased in a single operation under this contract.
