This Notice is not an invitation for formal expressions of interest to participate in the procurement process. Southern Housing Group is issuing this PIN for the purpose of seeking organisations who wish to take part in a market consultation exercise. In particular SHG wishes to establish how the requirements can be packaged in the most effective manner, whilst still being favourable to potential bidders. Therefore SHG will be seeking the views of Contractors on a number of issues through a Soft Market Test Day.
SHG, the Contracting Authority, does not have a firm intention to award a Contract for all, or some, of the works referenced in this Notice.
Organisations that would like to participate in the Soft Market Test exercise are invited to email SHG's Procurement Consultant, Faithorn Farrell Timms LLP via shgprocurement@effefftee.co.uk or via the Noted Interest facility on the myTenders website.
The closing date for responses is Friday 18.7.2014. The Soft Market Test Day will be held at:
Newclose Cricket Ground, Blackwater Road, Newport Isle of Wight PO30 3BE on Thursday 24.7.2014 to which all persons responding to this Notice, via the email detailed above, will be invited. A maximum of two representatives for each company may attend.
This will be an opportunity for SHG to provide more background information on this potential project and obtain views from the attendees to help shape the procurement model. Further information will be issued to those expressing an interest in advance of the event.
Following this process, it is anticipated that a formal Contract Notice(s) will be issued around September 2014.
