European market observatory for fisheries and aquaculture products (EUMOFA)
The purpose of the contract is to ensure the continuity of the services currently delivered by EUMOFA and to implement, run and maintain a fully-fledged market intelligence service on EU fisheries and aquaculture markets.The operational objectives of EUMOFA are to collect, harmonise, analyse and disseminate data and conduct market analyses on the EU market for fisheries and aquaculture products along the supply chain and make this information publicly available, in all or certain EU languages.The service will take over and improve the existing services of EUMOFA (www.eumofa.eu), and will ensure dissemination of results and communication on EUMOFA services. Emphasis should be put on supporting producer organisations (POs) and inter-branch organisations (IBOs) to better coordinate information between operators and processors.The expected services are:
1) Data collection,
2) Reports, studies and market analysis,
3) Dissemination and communication activities,
4) IT Services.
