The proposed A289 improvement connects the at-grade roundabouts of: 4 Elms — (A289 Hasted Road/A228 4 Elms Hill); Sans Pareil — (A289 Wulfere Way/A228 Frindsbury Hill); and Anthonys Way — (A289 Berwick Way/A289 Vanguard Way tunnel). The scheme is intended to improve the capacity at the 3 roundabouts and improve journey time for vehicles and buses making strategic movements through and along parts of the northern Medway crossing route.
