Description of the circumstances which rendered the modification necessary and explanation of the unforeseen nature of these circumstances:

Für die Nachweisführung der Standzeit für die weiteren 80 Jahre sind konkrete Angaben zum Zustand des Viaduktes erforderlich. Für die Stahlteile der Brücke musste zunächst eine statische Untersuchung der Auslastung durch den Entwurfsplaner erfolgen und eine Vorentscheidung zum Erhalt / Austausch gesamthafter Bauteile getroffen werden. Aus diesem Grund konnten die Untersuchungen noch nicht im Vorfeld erfolgen bzw. im Wettbewerb der Planungsleistung ausgeschrieben werden, weil der Leistungsumfang unklar war und mit wirtschaftlichem Hintergrund keine Bauteile untersucht werden sollten, die im weiteren Verlauf nicht in das künftige, ertüchtigte Viadukt integriert werden können. Diese Nachrechnung ist zwischenzeitlich erfolgt, so dass eine planungsbegleitende, gezielte Zustandsfeststellung z. B. zum Korrosionsstand erfolgen kann, die weit über die Anforderungen der wiederkehrenden Regelbegutachtungen hinaus geht.
