The services in this invitation to tender are divided into the following services:

— complete interior and exterior cleaning of buildings (facades) and sports fields,

— waste management, including maintenance and running of the ecopark,

— maintenance of feminine hygiene units and sharps disposal units, and disposal of confidential documents,

— disinfection and pest control,

— prevention of Legionella in irrigation systems,

— maintenance of interior and exterior gardens as well as green areas adjoining the EUIPO buildings.

II.2.4)Description of the procurement:

This invitation to tender covers services for the buildings occupied by the EUIPO in Alicante (Spain). These involve interior and exterior cleaning, cleaning sports fields on the campus, maintaining and running the ecopark, performing special treatments and maintaining interior and exterior gardens as well as green areas adjoining the headquarters.

The interior cleaning services include office spaces, the common service area, technical rooms, the kitchen and garages, as well as the replacement of all health-related consumables, collection of waste and the transport thereof to the ecopark. Exterior cleaning includes the facades of the EUIPO's buildings and the sports fields.

Running the ecopark shall include the transport of waste by authorised carriers and the delivery thereof to authorised treatment/disposal facilities. The successful tenderer must also perform maintenance work on the ecopark's installations so as to ensure the safety and hygiene thereof at all times.

Special treatments include disinfection and pest control, as well as the treatments necessary to prevent Legionella in irrigation systems. In addition, the successful tenderer shall supply and manage feminine hygiene waste containers and units specifically for the collection of sharps waste (hazardous or specific sanitary waste in group III), and be responsible for the disposal of confidential documents.

The maintenance services for the garden areas involve drawing up and monitoring the agronomic plan, preparation works (surveying existing vegetation, shrubs and plants), maintenance (watering, mowing, trimming, aerating and verticutting, weeding, covering with gravel, earthing up, fertilising, pruning, digging, cleaning and replanting), irrigation system (maintenance, inspection, replacement), natural indoor plants and outdoor planters (watering, cleaning and pruning leaves, adding soil, replanting), maintenance of artificial plants and phytosanitary treatments.
