NEPO301 Electricity Supply and Demand Framework Agreement.
NEPO seeks to procure a Framework Agreement for Electricity Supply and Demand Side Services. The purpose of this PIN is to provide prior information to the market on the intentions of NEPO to procure such a Framework Agreement. This notice also provides an open invite to Market Consultation meetings.
NEPO intend to hold Market Consultation meetings with suppliers prior to this procurement project. The Market Consultation meetings are advertised openly using this notice. Meetings are limited to a practical number and will be secured on a first come first served basis by visiting the Eventbrite link: https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/market-engagement-nepo301-electricity-supply-and-demand-framework-agreement-tickets-35996991972. Further information regarding the meetings is included in this link. Attendance at Market Consultation meetings is optional and attendance does not provide a supplier an advantage in any manner. Attendance does not constitute a supplier's intention to tender.
NEPO seeks to procure a Framework Agreement for Electricity Supply and Demand Side Services. The Framework Agreement will include the purchasing of power via a Fully Flexible methodology and the subsequent supply of electricity to Half-Hourly (HH), Non Half-Hourly (NHH) sites and street lighting (both HH and UMS). The Framework Agreement will also includes the provision of Fixed Electricity Supply Contracts. The Framework Agreement will include the provision of data aggregator, data collector and automatic meter reading service (AMR) with associated services and systems. The Framework Agreement shall also include access to Demand Side Services and Energy Efficiency Services.
The current NEPO Framework Agreement consumes approximately 500Gwh per annum over approximately 5800 sites. Further information regarding Framework Agreement scope and size will be provided in the Contract Notice.

NEPO is a Central Purchasing Body as defined in the Public Contract Regulations 2015 (PCR15). The agreement will be available for use by all NEPO Members. A list of NEPO members is available in the About section of the NEPO website: www.nepo.org. This agreement will also be made available to all current and future NEPO Associate Members. Current Associate Members are listed on the NEPO website at: www.nepo.org/associate-membership/list.
NEPO intends to make the resulting agreement available for use by all Contracting Authorities throughout all administrative regions of the UK. A complete list of permissible users is shown on the NEPO website http://www.nepo.org/associate-membership/permissable-users. Organisations wishing to access the NEPO agreement will be required to register as a NEPO Associate Member in the first instance.
