NHS Dumfries and Galloway Planned Preventative and Reactive Maintenance — Fire Alarm Systems – November 2020-October 2023
NHS Dumfries and Galloway (NHSDG) is seeking to appoint a planned preventative and reactive maintenance fire alarm systems contractor to provide these services in respect of planned and reactive works. The key services being sought are fire alarm systems testing planned works, routine maintenance works, and unplanned reactive works/emergency call outs. From time to time and in spite of the controls in place to prevent them, emergency repair or maintenance works may need to be carried out.
The contract shall comprise of the inspection, test and certification of the following systems at NHS Dumfries and Galloway sites:
1) Fire alarm system and all associated detection and equipment in line with the requirements of BS5839-1:2017, BS5839-6:2019, BS5839-8:2013; SHTM82
The works indicated above shall enable the client to demonstrate compliance with the relevant sections of the the Fire (Scotland) Act 2005 Part 3 and Fire Safety (Scotland) Regulations 2006.
The contract shall comprise of the remedial works required to repair the existing equipment if found to be faulty subject to the prior approval of the budget holder and client.
Option by NHSDG to extend for a further 12 months in 1 x 12-month interval.
NHSDG intends to invite the 6 bidders achieving the highest scores at ESPD Evaluation Stage to submit tenders unless two (2) or more bidders score the same sixth (6th) highest score, in which case all such bidders shall be invited to tender.
The contractor must be:
— registered with Companies House — CHAS Premier Plus Registered contractor if successful in the tender process;
— a member of NICEIC or Select.
