This a new contract to replace our existing main contractor framework which is shortly due to expire.
We envisage appointing 6 suppliers to this framework which will be a design and build contract, but with the flexibility to also be used for traditional style (build element only) where our in-house resources can be used for the design element.
Typical types of build projects covered under the contract will include (although won't be limited to):
— Primary schools,
— Care homes,
— Council offices.
Duration to be 3 years + 1 year.

(2) All candidates will be required to provide a statement covering the 3 previous financial years including the overall turnover of the candidate and the turnover in respect of the activities which are of a similar type to the subject matter of this notice.
