Study to Assess Biodegradability Criteria for Polymers Used in EU fertilising Products as Coating Agents or to Increase the Water Retention Capacity or Wettability and of Mulch Films
This study will support the European Commission to fulfil its legal obligation under Regulation 2019/1009 in assessing:
(a) biodegradability criteria for specific polymers contained in EU fertilising products (as coating agents or to increase the water retention capacity or wettability); and
(b) biodegradability criteria for mulch films used in agronomic application.
The place of performance of the tasks shall be the contractor's premises or any other place indicated in the tender, with the exception of the Commission's premises.
