The DRP is the NDA's strategic R&D portfolio and involves Research and Development (R&D) that informs the development of NDA's strategy, develops innovative decommissioning and clean-up technology and supports the development of key technical skills fundamental to the NDA's decommissioning mission. The 3 Framework Agreements which support the DRP are:
1) University interactions, single supplier;
2) Integrated waste management and site restoration and decommissioning, multi supplier;
3) Spent fuel and nuclear materials, multi supplier.
The current Framework Agreements will expire in March and April 2020 and as part of the sourcing process for the new Framework Agreements, NDA is holding a supplier information day on 18.9.2019 in West Cumbria.
