The Sideway-force Coefficient Routine Investigation Machine (SCRIM) Survey is required annually to provide skidding resistance information to allow effective implementation of the Highway Authority's SKID policy. The provider shall provide the SCRIM survey vehicle. The approximate kilometres required per survey per annum is 625 lane km for North Lincolnshire and 328 lane km for North East Lincolnshire.

The provider shall provide the Deflectograph survey vehicle. The approximate kilometres required per survey type per annum is 40 lane km for North Lincolnshire and as and when a requirement is identified for North East Lincolnshire.
