The successful contractor will be expected to provide the following services to Eurofound:
— on-going staff service (both breakfast and lunch) in the canteen;
— ad-hoc catering service for conferences, meetings and other events.

The price propose by the only tender received for this contract was found to exceed the maximum amount set by Eurofound as determined and documented internally prior to launching the procurement procedure. As a result, the tender was judged to be unacceptable and rejected. Subsequently Eurofound has decided to cancel the procedure. A competitive procedure with negotiation without prior publication of a contract notice is planned to be used in order to ensure contract award.
