VII.2)Other additional information:

The tender process is being extended by three weeks to 11 August 2020, the reason for the extension is the following:

The City Corporation has decided to extend the deadline for submission of SQs for this Architect Framework, with associated adjustments to the rest of the procurement timeline. This is in order for amendments to be made to some SQ and ITT questions and the specification and for bidders to have time to prepare and respond to these changes.

The amendments have been deemed necessary due to the changing economic landscape brought about by Covid-19, the differential impacts the pandemic is having and the City Corporation’s strengthened commitment to eroding barriers to contracting with SMEs and to actively addressing under-representation within our supply chains as part of our public sector equality duty. Additionally, work on developing the City’s Climate Action Strategy with a pathway to net zero carbon and climate resilience, the City Corporation’s Circular Economy Strategy and the responsible procurement policy has progressed to the extent that it allows elements to be added to ensure alignment of this framework with future sustainable development aspirations.

Applicants should wait to submit an SQ response. Amendments to any SQ criteria will be issued w/c 27 July. Please wait for further instruction to avoid duplication of work.
