The Hyde Group builds new homes and neighbourhoods ranging in size from a few homes to complex, major mixed-use urban regeneration schemes providing thousands of new homes. Our Corporate Plan has three strategic priorities: Growth, Increasing Capacity and delivering quality services, which are reflected in Hyde's approach to procuring development and construction services. Hyde's Board approved Development Strategy will see the business delivering at least 50 % of its development programme as housing for sale and private rent to reinvest in providing additional affordable homes, and we are seeking partners to work with us to help realise this objective. Hyde wants to become synonymous with creating beautifully designed and successful places where people want to live, which are socially and economically successful and with quality placed at the heart of what we do. Our customers rightly demand high standards of quality and finish — whatever price they may pay for their home. This can range from a subsidised rent of 150 GBP per week rent through to 1 000 000 GBP purchase price for an apartment. Hyde operates in London and the south of England in markets that we know and understand. Local relationships and knowledge add value to our business and give Hyde a competitive edge. We are looking for the same qualities from our supply chain. The risks inherent to running a major property development company are well understood by Hyde. A critical success factor for delivery on Hyde's ambitions is putting in place long term arrangements with a select number of key partners with whom we can bring forward opportunities through a simplified procurement process focused on delivering added value to ensure the best quality product for our customers. Hyde's framework offers the following benefits:
— A simplified process, to select long-term construction partners.
— Limited numbers of partners with an anticipated 3 -5 contractors per lot.
— Ability to directly select contractors to negotiate as well as conduct mini competitions.
— Ability to extend use of our framework, to other housing associations and local authorities potentially significantly extending the reach and value of the framework agreement beyond 1 000 000 000 GBP.
The Framework agreement has 8 lots broken down by value and geographical location as follows:
Lot 1 — Kent up to 5 000 000 GBP.
Lot 2 — Kent above 5 000 000 GBP.
Lot 3 — South Coast Up to 5 000 000 GBP.
Lot 4 — South Coast above 4 000 000 GBP and up to 10 000 000 GBP.
Lot 5 — South Coast above 10 000 000 GBP.
Lot 6 — London up to 15 000 000 GBP.
