The Avon Pension Fund (administered by Bath and North East Somerset Council) invites tenders from interested parties to provide investment management services to the Fund for the set-up, implementation, and management of a diversified portfolio of hedge funds. The tender is for the management of a bespoke portfolio of hedge funds, equating to approximately 5 % of the Pension Fund's overall assets, or approximately GBP 165 000 000 at current levels.
The target is to achieve a return of the higher of: 3 month LIBOR + 3 % p.a.; or 6.0 % p.a., net of all fees over rolling three year periods, with volatility of one third to one half of equity markets.
