Liverpool City Council (LCC) is conducting a bespoke competitive procurement procedure with negotiation and is inviting suitably qualified Bidders to submit Tender responses set out within this Invitation to Negotiate (ITN) document for the future commercialisation of LCC owned NET ducts and to provide Ultra-fast broadband network and Public Wi-Fi/wireless network.
These services will be divided in 2 distinct work stream areas, which will be both awarded to a single supplier partner:
1. Utilising Capacity in LCC owned NET ducts, providing a fully sustainable Ultra-fast broadband network;
2. Supply of Public Wi-Fi connectivity.
Initially the contract will be for a 15 year period with a potential for 2, 5 year extensions (each), to deliver its vision of ultra-fast broadband and Wi-Fi services to the City Centre of Liverpool under a concession arrangement with the successful Tenderer.
