Planning and carrying out works related to combining the automatic gaseous fire suppression systems in buildings AA1 and AA2 of the EUIPO headquarters, including providing supplies for such works.
The EUIPO is planning to award a contract for drafting the plan for the construction and installation works related to combining the automatic gaseous fire suppression systems in buildings AA1 and AA2, and for subsequently carrying out such works.

The scope of the contract includes all management, technical and administrative activities for:
1) drafting the work plan and the associated additional documentation and completing all the necessary legal paperwork.
The plan for supplying and installing automatic fire suppression systems for buildings AA1 and AA2 will include removing from all confined spaces any gases which represent a greater risk of harm to people or the environment than FK 5-1-12 (NOVEC 1230). In addition, the plan must include a solution for open-plan areas and the refill system to reduce refilling times.
Tenderers must include with their tenders drawings that are sufficiently detailed as to verify that their proposal can be implemented in line with the guidelines specified in section 4.2.1 of the technical specifications;
2) carrying out the works. The contractor must carry out the physical works set out in the plan, including supplying all the materials, labour and tools;
3) maintenance of the installations over a guarantee period.
All technical, administrative, organisational and inspection activities needed to guarantee the required quality of the works planned under the project are also included.
This invitation to tender does not include project management or health and safety coordination.
A visit is planned for 27.10.2017 (11:00).
The contract is estimated to last between 2 and 4 months, depending on the timetable for carrying out the works proposed by the contractor in his tender, plus the minimum 2-year guarantee period.
