This service contract envisages the development of new tools and functionalities for the Web-based European climate adaptation platform (, 'Climate-ADAPT', building on the current version of the platform.

The project aims at developing the concept of 'one-stop shop', as stated in the EU strategy on adaptation to climate change, by developing tools and improving the sections holding information from different geographical scales (national, regional, subnational). In particular, a new subsection of the platform should be developed for the integration of the EU urban adaptation initiative (mayors adapt); also, solutions for better presenting and interacting with the information on countries and regions need to be developed.
Additionally, the contract aims at improving the platform's usability by making it more user-friendly and structurally coherent, including developing tools to enhance the interaction of the platform's users and managers.

In line with Article 134.1(f) of the rules of application to the Financial Regulation No 966/2012 of 25.10.2012, during the 3 years following conclusion of the original contract, the contracting authority will be able to use the exceptional negotiated procedure for additional services (without prior publication of a contract notice) consisting in the repetition of similar services (up to a maximum of 50 % of the original contract value) entrusted to the economic operator awarded the initial contract by the same contracting authority.

Please note this was published in the PIN OJ 2014/S 37-060303 of 21.2.2014 with the title 'Further development of Climate-ADAPT' and had a budget of 150 000 EUR. The budget for this contract was a range between 130 000 EUR and 150 000 EUR.
