Norfolk County Council, in its capacity as Managing Authority of the Interreg VA France (Channel) England Programme 2014-2020, is seeking to procure an interpretation service to provide simultaneous interpretation for programme meetings and events.
In July 2013 NCC made a successful bid to act as Managing Authority for the France (Channel) England (FCE) programme. This EU programme funds a number of cross-border projects across a broad eligible area extending from Cornwall to Norfolk in the UK and from Finistere to Pas de Calais in France. The programme must therefore take into account both the common features and the differences that exist between the various regions of the area, and needs to be able to effectively operate in both English and French.
The primary requirements of this service will be to provide simultaneous interpretation, including all personal and equipment required to do so. The type of events are as follows: Programme Monitoring Committee meetings, Programme Sub-committee meetings, events organised by the Joint Technical Secretariat, Roadshows for stakeholders, and other events as required by the programme.
The locations where this service will be required are not fixed and may take place at any location across the eligible area, as well as in London, Paris, Brussels and other neighbouring regions.
