Expressions of interest only are required at this stage from service providers wishing to be considered for inclusion on the tender list for this project. Please note that a pre-tender questionnaire will not be issued and therefore all the information identified herein under III.2) must be submitted by those interested as part of their expression of interest. A shortlist of 3 to 6 service providers will be compiled based upon the responses to this Notice, judged against the criteria listed herein under III.2) Tender documents will only be provided to these service providers inviting them to submit tenders for the work and attend a selection interview. On the basis of the tender returns and responses given at interview, measured against the criteria note in IV.2) a selection will be made for the service provider to undertake this project. The awarding authority does not bind itself to accept either the lowest or any bid, and will not be held responsible for costs incurred by the bidders. Submissions in response to this Notice must not extend to more than 20 pages of A4, electronic copies will not be accepted. All discussions and correspondence will be conducted in English. The contract shall be subject to English Law. Please note that no further information regarding this process to obtain to obtain expressions of interest is available at this time.
The University of Cambridge is not a public body within the meaning of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 (Directive 2014/24/EU) and is not subject to the European Procurement Legislation. Where the University advertises contracts in the Official Journal of the European Union, it does so on a voluntary basis and does not undertake any obligation to comply with the procurement legislation. The University reserves its rights in full to adapt or step outside the procedures in the procurement legislation as the University considers necessary.
