The aim of this study is to carry out an assessment of the possible impacts including a cost/benefit analysis and a pilot project on the use of electronic tags for marine equipment as set out in Article 11 of Directive 2014/90/EU on marine equipment. The expected outcome of the study is to assist the Commission in comparing the different options on the basis of the related costs and benefits.
