II.1.4)Short description:

The contest is for the delivery of a cloud based system for receiving alarms from welfare technology equipment, as well as welfare technology equipment. The contracting authority will enter into a contract with 1 - one - tenderer.

The contracting authority has an option to procure signalling installations and systems for nursing homes via the framework agreement.

The contract value is estimated to be above the EEA threshold. The estimated value is not binding for the contracting authority. The need is uncertain. Modum Municipality currently has approx. 300 personal safety alarms. The volume will be dependent on i.a. the contracting authority's requirements, activities, budget and other framework factors.

Lot

Tenders cannot be submitted for parts of the assignment, and alternative tenders are not allowed. The contracting authority has considered dividing the assignment in accordance with PPR Section 19-4, but has decided that it is most appropriate to deal with one tenderer for the assignment. It is, therefore, not appropriate to split up this procurement. The contracting authority reserves the right to accept all or parts of a tender.

Framework agreement.

The procurement and/or hire of welfare technology equipment will be regulated by the attached framework agreement, with the accompanying standard terms.

The framework agreement will be valid from and including 14 September 2020 until and including 13 September 2022, with an option for the contracting authority for a further extension for up to 2 years, 12 months at a time.

The contracting authority expects that the tenderer studies the contractual terms and makes the required internal clarifications in such a way that a contract can be signed if awarded.
