Basic Medical Equipment: Radiation Protection for the Health Trusts in Helse Vest
The contracting authority would like tenders for a framework agreement for personal protection equipment from ionising radiation up to and including 140 kVp, and stands/hangers, for the health trusts in Helse Vest.
The offered equipment will primarily be used by employees in theatres, intervention departments, radiological departments, including child X-ray, outpatients, and the department for nuclear medicine. The products will be used for 8 continuous hours, 7 days a week, and the offered products must have the quality and functionality in line with this.
Tenders may be submitted for one or more of the following lots:
— protection equipment against ionising radiation up to and including 140 kVp,
— eye lens protection,
— stand and hangers for overcoats/vests/shirts/neck collars.
The estimated total value, based on statistics and estimated consumption is approx. NOK 600 000 a year.

1) Protection Equipment Against Ionising Radiation up to and Including 140 kVp

The contracting authority has a unilateral right to trigger an option to extend the contract for up to 1 year + 1 year.
The options are triggered automatically and on identical terms unless otherwise requested by the contracting authority.
2) Eye Lens Protection
The offered equipment will primarily be used by employees in theatres, intervention departments, radiological departments, including child x-ray, outpatients, and the department for nuclear medicine. The products will be used for 8 continuous hours, 7 days a week, and the offered products must have the quality and functionality in line with this.
3) Stand and Hangers for Overcoats/Vests/Shirts/Neck Collars
Section III: Legal, economic, financial and technical information
Tenderers must have the financial capacity to fulfil the assignment/contract.
Credit evaluation/rating, not older than 6 months, and which is based on the last known fiscal figures. The rating must be carried out by a publicly certified credit rating institution.
We retain the right to collect a credit rating on our own initiative from a reputable rating company.
Companies without a satisfactory credit rating, newly started companies with a credit rating of AN, individual foreign companies or companies without reporting obligation to the Brønnøysund Register Centre will not always be able to submit a credit rating as documentation that the qualification requirement is satisfied. In such circumstances, they will be able to compensate with a satisfactory guarantee from a bank and/or guarantee from a parent company with a satisfactory credit rating which provides an equivalent security for the implementation ability. These alternative documents must be included with the tender.
