De aansprakelijkheidsverzekering van de Stichting Vrije Universiteit te Amsterdam vervalt op 1 januari 2022. Ter verkrijging van een nieuw contract wordt een Europese niet-openbare procedure uitgevoerd met als doel het sluiten van een éénjarig contract en voorts doorlopend conform bestek. Willis Towers Watson gevestigd te Amstelveen begeleid de Vrije Universiteit bij dit traject.

De verzekerde som is EUR 10 Miljoen per gebeurtenis en EUR 20 Miljoen per verzekeringsjaar en voor het overige zie bestek.
