Main site or place of performance:
The tasks are to be performed on the premises designated by the contractor. A maximum of 5 coordination meetings are to be held in Brussels with the contracting authority
II.2.4)Description of the procurement:
The contractor shall firstly present and compare the relevant insurance and pension funds markets in and outside the EU, on the basis of detailed factsheets, and exhibit the trends in their equity investments. The contractor shall then conduct interviews with insurance companies and pension funds to better understand the factors which influence their investment strategies. The interviews shall be supported by quantitative and qualitative information about the assets and liabilities of the companies considered, to ensure comparability across the interviews. The analyses of the markets and of the sample should help identifying the relevant drivers of investments in equity. The contractor shall conduct separately an analysis of investments in equity related to unit-linked and indexed linked insurance contracts in the EU, as well as investments in equity made by defined contribution pension funds.
