1) to collect the most recent information for a certain number of substances with the view to analyse the health, socio-economic and environmental impacts in connection with possible amendments of Directive 98/24/EC on the protection of workers from the risks related to exposure to chemical agents at work and Directive 2009/148/EC on the protection of workers from the risks related to exposure to asbestos at work;

2) to assess the impact of the identified options.
