II.1.4)Short description:

CO2 emissions of HDVs are highly dependent on the body superstructure. HDVs are currently certified with standard bodies and trailers according to Reg. (EU) 2017/2400. In order to better reflect to the reality it is the intention to use real bodies and trailers when determining the CO2 emissions. There are different methodology options that have to be analysed and evaluated by the Contractor to have a feasible method for that purpose. The appropriateness of the proposed methodology have to be proven by performing tests or simulations. The subject of this contract is only to develop a proper methodology for determining the effects of real bodies and trailers on CO2 emissions. In addition gathering feedback from stakeholders are fundamental therefore holding workshops and/or meetings, where the progress and result of the work will be presented, is part of the contract.

In line with Article 134.1.e) of the Rules of Application to the Financial Regulation No. 2015/1929 of 30.10.2015, during the 3 years following conclusion of the original contract, the Contracting Authority will be able to use the negotiated procedure for additional services (without prior publication of a contract notice) for new services or works consisting in the repetition of similar services or works entrusted to the economic operator to which the same contracting authority awarded an original contract, provided that these services or works are in conformity with a basic project for which the original contract was awarded after publication of a contract notice, subject to the conditions set out in paragraph 4 of Article 134.
