SCC Digital Business and Insights Programme (ERP System Replacement)
The Council has a requirement to replace our back-office systems including HR, Finance and Procurement. The Council currently use a single system, SAP ECC6 EhP7 to cover these areas and is starting the process of selecting a replacement. The replacement could be an already fully integrated SaaS ERP solution or a fully integrated combination of best of breed SaaS solutions. As part of the process the Council will be holding an engagement event on 4th December to communicate our strategic ambitions and plan for the Digital Business and Insights Programme (ERP System Replacement), including our procurement approach to the market before the planned formal launch of the procurement process on 5th December. The Council would like to receive representation from a cross section of the market including, technology vendors (software providers), implementation partners and system integrators. This is not a call for competition, a separate contract notice will be published when the procurement procedure commences. The information given in this notice is only demonstrative of current arrangements and provided in order for interested organisations to understand the potential scope.
Further details of the engagement event will be released via the Council’s e-tendering portal, https://www.sesharedservices.org.uk/esourcing/opportunities to suppliers who express an interest in attending. SCC will be holding a Supplier Engagement Event on the 4.12.2019 at Kingston University, Penrhyn Road Campus, Kingston upon Thames, Surrey, KT1 2EE, Room PRJG1002. In order to register your interest in attending please go to our e-tendering and opportunities portal (details below). You are required to register your interest in the opportunity via the Correspondence facility, the deadline for registering an interest in attending the supplier engagement event is 20.11.2019. Supporting information will be made available for potential suppliers to review before attending. Please do not send marketing and sales materials to the Council as at this point we are unable to read them. The ability of suppliers to bid for this opportunity is not affected by attendance or non-attendance at the supplier engagement event when the Council proceed with a formal procurement process.
