This is a request for information (RFI). Danish Defense Acquisition and Logistics Organization (DALO) plans to tender a contract regarding acquisition and sustainment of a new VTS system. As part of the preparation to the tender, DALO would like to request information regarding some specific topics from potential tenderers. Due to this DALO has decided to initiate a technical dialogue with the market. The purpose of this technical dialogue is to obtain information about the possibilities and restrictions on the market and to understand how the best possible tender can be arranged both for DALO and the tenderers according to the EU regulation.

II.2.4)Description of the procurement:

The existing VTS system Great Belt was acquired in 2006 and has been updated and renewed as needed over the years. The existing VTS System has been operating for many years. The system has reached end-of-life and therefore DALO plans to tender a contract regarding acquisition and sustainment of a new VTS system.

As part of the preparation to the tender DALO would like to request information regarding some specific topics from potential tenderers. The purpose of this request is to understand how the best possible tender can be arranged both for DALO and the tenderers according to the EU regulation.

DALO would ask potential tenderers to review and answer on our questions contained in RFI response sheet available at the address in Section I.3). DALO would like to emphasize that participation in this RFI will not influence your participation in a possible future tender. DALO reserves the right to contact specific responders in regard to further explanation of the answers given and/or obtaining more information on the basis of the answers.

If there is anything that is unclear, please contact DALO (information regarding contact person is available in Section I.1). When you have filled out the RFI response sheet, please upload it to ETHICS.

We ask you to respond in writing and that you upload us your response no later than 31.1.2020.
