The service contract resulting from the call for tenders ‘Territorial impacts of Covid-19 and policy answers in European regions and cities’ shall deliver an update of the methodology developed and the territorial evidence compiled in the framework of a recently completed ESPON activity on the geography of Covid-19 outbreak 1. The previous evidence shall be taken further by considering also social consequences of local/regional containment measures in the analysis. Furthermore, this applied research activity shall provide evidence on the added value of new policy measures that cities and regions applied to respond to the socio-economic effects of containment measures.
