II.2.4)Description of the procurement:

The aim of the procurement is to develop an innovative concept (hereafter called the system/service) to optimise the planning and execution of operations in the hospital. We would like to achieve this by supporting the work on planning and updating the operation programme in order to ensure predictable implementation of the operation programme, as well as real time logistics management that will contribute to efficient implementation. The system/service must contribute to increased patient security by supporting quality assurance in the planning process, in addition to being able to increase the hospital's productivity throughout the entire operation process.

The procurement's value is estimated to be NOK 700 million. This sum includes development costs of NOK 13.5 million including VAT, as well as the estimated procurement costs, implementation, and use of the system over 4 years if both oUS and all the accompanying entities take up the option.
