Offshore Wind — PGL — Seabed Clearance, UXO and Identification Survey and Associated Services

Seabed Clearance, UXO and Identification survey in 6 m to 100 m water depths on the provence grand large export and inter-array cables routes and contingency layout.

For part of the scope, Parc Eolien Offshore de Provence Grand Large is acting on behalf of and for RTE (Réseau de Transport d’Electricité).

Emplazamiento o lugar de ejecución principal: The project is located approximately 40 km west from Marseille, at the entry of the Gulf of Fos at 16 km from the Napoleon beach car park, at Port ‘Saint Louis du Rhône’.

The scope of services consists in 3 main activities — water depth (mean/min/max): 99 m/96 m/102 m/Distance between 2 Floating offshore wind turbines ~(900 m; 1 000 m)

— Package 1 Clearance certification shall cover approx. a 50 m wide corridor along the Export Cable (Export Cable Route offshore part is about 19 km long) and consists in:

• verification of a target and deviation route to be surveyed in case of M_030 Anomaly classified as suspicious in KP 14 Box via SSS/MAG. Clearance verification on MAG anomaly shall cover a minimum of 20 m radius around the position and the target detected by SSS and MAG assets;

• validation of the export cable route (19 km, surveyed in 2017), via SSS (MAG data being already available). Clearance certification shall cover a 50 m wide corridor along the Export Cable Route by SSS only.

— Package 2 consists in a validation of the position selected as contingency layout for nine (9) suction piles (Chirp 3D and SSS only, MAG data being already available):

• clearance verification shall cover a minimum of 20 m radius around the 9 suction piles positions planned by to clear the field and Chirp 3D to verify ‘deep’ layer;

• the expected performances with Chirp 3 D must allow a good overview of the treated layer at not less than 5/6 meters deep and show (or not) the absence of potential obstruction impacting the installation of the 3 FOWT.

— Package 3 consists in an initial IAC layout survey via SSS/MAG.

• clearance verification shall cover a 40 m wide corridor along the IAC original route planned by SSS and MAG assets;

• Clearance certification shall cover also a 40 m wide corridor along the different IAC deviation route option in case of FOWT moving positions.

Each package will be divided into four main steps:

— mobization phase: with a KoM and tests of the equipment (calibration phase onshore and offshore),

— operation at sea: with daily reporting and coordination with Client’s Rep o/b Survey vessel,

— demobilzation phase: with a hot wash up debrief onshore,

— data process and interpretation onshore/reports delivery: with data acquisition with 200 % overlapping/classification of obstruction (classification sheet), proofreading with PGL and target list creation offshore with specific overview on high level targets of interest in terms of UXO risk and position impacting the next steps of the project/Issue of UXO clearance certificates and

Deliverables (Reports).

The contract will be governed and ruled by the French Law and applicable rules (Directive 2014/24/EU of 2014, Order 2015-899 of 23 July 2015, Decree 2016-360 of 25 March 2016 and the implementing decrees in force).

The candidate must include a sworn statement that confirms that he is not subject to any exclusion ground as listed in the contract Notice III.1.1) points 1) to 4).
