The EIB intends to establish a framework agreement with up to 5 service providers and to subsequently award particular assignments to 1 or several of these suppliers, using the mechanism as described hereunder (see 5.1 'Procedure for the award of individual assignments').
Pre-employment background checking of candidates is particularly important to prevent legal, operational or reputational risks that may result from recruiting the wrong candidate; and is a complement to the usual selection tools in order to reinforce predictability of future performance of new hires.
