Supply, Delivery and Installation of Thermodynamics Laboratory Training Equipment at HMS Sultan
The Authority has a one-off requirement for the procurement of thermodynamics laboratory equipment to assist in the delivery of engineering training at HMS Sultan. Further details and equipment specification can be found in the statement of requirement within the supporting documentation.
The Authority has a one-off requirement for the supply, delivery and installation of thermodynamics laboratory equipment to assist in the delivery of engineering training at HMS Sultan. The requirement is for 2 small engine test beds, 1 x 2-stage compressor test set and 2 self-contained twin shaft gas turbines. Each is to include a 1-year warranty and hard copy maintainers handbook. Training on the equipment is also required. Contract start and end dates are an estimate and subject to change. Further details and equipment specification can be found in the statement of requirement within the supporting documentation.
The Authority will use the PQQ response to create a short list of tenderers who are eligible to participate, can fulfil any minimum economic, financial, professional and technical standards and best meet, in terms of capacity and capability, the selection criteria set out in this PQQ. Full details of the method of choosing the tenders are set out in the PQQ. It is the Authority's intention to down select to between approximately 5 and 10 highest scoring suppliers who will be invited to tender providing they meet the overall score of a pass within the PQQ. If a supplier receives a fail to any question within the PQQ, they will automatically fail the evaluation and not be invited to participate further.

The contracting authority considers that this contract may be suitable for economic operators that are small or medium enterprises (SMEs).
