Tytuł: Contract with Johansen Monumenthuggeri AS for the preparation of Minnested Gjerdrum municipality.
Opis: The background for Gjerdrum municipality wanting to use Johansen Monumenthuggeri AS for this project can be summarised with the following, for us, relevant points: The municipality is working to establish a separate memorial down in the existing ravine area, where the Gjerdrum avalanche went. A special-designed granite floor shall be established in this area, which the tenderer shall shed and assemble. The granite is particularly taken out and forms the basis for the artistic expression that is agreed upon. The tenderer has long and unique experience with the production of stone works for monuments, pieces of art and decoration projects with particularly high requirements for design and detail. They have extensive experience in collaborating with national and international artists. They are used to filling a coordination function in meetings between different trade groups and tenderers. They have unique experience and knowledge with handling and processing granite with large dimensions and scales. The value of the delivery is estimated to BE NOK 3.5 million. In the process of preparing the memorial ́s physics, the need to connect with the correct supplier has been significant and important. In particular, this has been correct in order to find a correct stone basis that could meet the assumption left behind and affected have set for the visual expression, for especially the memorial floor. The tenderer is also subject to competence and system development as regards production, logistics and assembly system, based on the experience this has from equivalent projects. The timeline for production and delivery has also been set and the possibility of entering into a more comprehensive procurement process is not appropriate and it will mostly affect the opening hours point, autumn 2025.
