In order to achieve the objectives of the study, the contractor will need to perform the following tasks:
WP1: Technical analysis – mapping of textile recycling activities and technologies;
WP2: Analysis of the economic and environmental aspects of the textile recycling technologies identified under Work Package 1;
WP3: Definition of roadmaps and recommendations for potential supporting initiatives for textile recycling technologies under development and those almost ready or ready for scale up at industrial level in the EU;
WP4: Analysis of the existing EU regulatory framework and recommendations for policy solutions to existing or potential regulatory barriers.
