Fidelio is a model developed by the the Circular Economy and Industrial Leadership (CEIL) Unit to assess various policies related to environment, employment, economic growth, income and international trade (global value chains). It has been used by DG Environment and it is currently in use for a FP7 project (carbon cap). In the near future, it is expected to be used for DG Trade to support the impact assessment of free trade agreements (FTAs). Therefore, this call aims to further develop the model to meet the requests of the different DGs (e.g. DG Trade) that have shown interest in using it (e.g. updating the baseline data, extending the number of non-EU countries, etc.).
