1) Funding details
The above-named client intends to use part of the proceeds of a loan from/grant administered by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (the Bank) towards the cost of the above-named project.
Additional financing information: up to EUR 6 000 000 EBRD Loan to the City of Banja Luka.
2) Information on the project
The project will support the City of Banja Luka in improving its provision of water and wastewater services, particularly to the currently underserved population. The loan proceeds will finance expansion and rehabilitation of existing drinking water supply and wastewater networks, as follows:
• up to EUR 3.5 million for construction of the bridge ‘Dolac’ with the pipeline;
• up to EUR 4.7 million rehabilitation and expansion of the drinking water distribution network and wastewater collection network — Phase 2.

Consultancy supervision services will be covered under Banja Luka Water Project Phase I (51214) (https://ecepp.ebrd.com/delta/viewNotice.html?displayNoticeId=8804197). Contracts to be financed with the proceeds of a loan from/grant administered by the Bank will be open to firms from any country.
The proceeds of the Bank's loan will not be used for the purpose of any payment to persons or entities or for any import of goods, if such payment or import is prohibited by a decision of the United Nations Security Council taken under Chapter VII of the Charter of the United Nations or under a law of official regulation of the purchaser's country.
Tendering for this project will be conducted by eProcurement using the EBRD Client eProcurement Portal (ECEPP).
