The Contractor should develop three distinct e-Learning modules for specific tasks that people still experimenting with animals and/or officials authorizing experiments need to carry out when applying the principle of replacement, reduction and refinement of animal testing as per the Directive 2010/63/EU. The tasks are:
1) "Design of procedures and projects";
2) "Project Evaluator";
3) "Implementation of the severity assessment framework within projects using live animals".
Based on this contract, the set of the mentioned training materials can be made available to all training providers across the EU. To ensure fitness for purpose, the contract includes a review of the e-learning modules by a relevant expert group.
